The Lookout

The Lookout
Chapter 1: Commuications with the Moon

The Chakora bird sits patiently every night gazing at the sensational indifference of the moon. He is in deep, enduring love with her, and has dedicated his life to her elegance and beauty. He bathes in her moon light, whispers his secrets to her, and sits patiently without regret or expectation. He feeds on her moonbeams and captures them quietly in his feathers. After a long night with the moon, he goes home to his small laboratory, which he affectionately calls The Lookout, and gently sifts through all the moonbeams. He puts them in bottles, small boxes, suitcases, and even tiny charms for your neck, and sends them out into the world to strangers. Once received, they are opened with surprise, and people are overwhelmed with the feeling of love without expectation.

A tiny teetering wooden house, with stained glass windows and hidden secret messages throughout the structure will be pushed around by mosaic clouds and a beautiful mosaic moon. This is the laboratory of the Charkora, and is meant for people to sit with the moon beams and feel the universal language of the push-pull of complete and true love.
